Hurricane Ida Lashes Cuba's Isle of Youth With Intense Wind and Rain
Hurricane Ida brought intense rain and wind as it made landfall on the Isle of Youth (Isla de la Juventud) in Cuba as a Category 1 hurricane on August 27, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
Video shared by Ivonne Friero shows trees swaying in strong winds on Friday as the storm lashed the region.
