Northeast Florida restaurants are monitoring Hurricane Idalia, which is approaching Florida and expected to impact the Jacksonville area Wednesday. Some have announced they will be closed on Wednesday. All expect to reopen with normal business hours on Thursday weather permitting.

The storm is moving steadily toward the Gulf Coast and is expected to be a major hurricane when it makes landfall. People can keep tabs on Idalia by tracking its projected path.

The Times-Union is monitoring restaurant closures. If you have one to report, please email tstepzinski@jackonville.com.
