Hurricane Nicole damage seen Thursday in Daytona Beach, Volusia and Flagler counties

Tropical Storm Nicole made landfall on Florida's East Coast as a Category 1 hurricane at about 3 a.m. Thursday, just south of Vero Beach.
Impacts from the storm include flooding, power outages, strong winds, and dangerous storm surge and waves.
