Court records show Hill was indicted for the unlawful murder of Shakeira Rucker on Nov. 12, 2023. He was also indicted with attempted first-degree murder with a firearm, and three counts of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm, among other charges.

“Her children will never be able to see her again. It’s hard, it’s hard,” Rucker’s sister said.

On Nov. 18, Rucker’s body was discovered at a Self Storage in Apopka after someone reported a smell coming from the unit. The mother of four was reported missing by her family just six days prior after leaving town with Hill. He was located and arrested on a charge of attempted second-degree murder.

According to NBC affiliate WESH, Hill was already a convicted killer from a case in the 90s.

Hill’s next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 25.
