Hypnotist brings 'legendary' act to GPAC

Oct. 16—PEMBROKE — Hypnotist Jim Wand will perform at Givens Performing Arts Center on Monday as part of Homecoming Week at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

The show begins at 8 p.m. It is free for UNCP students, faculty and staff. Admission is $5 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at the GPAC Box Office or online. For information, call 910-521-6361.

Wand is considered one of the top hypnotic entertainers in the world today, with more than 25 years in the industry and 11,000 presentations to his credit. He is a regular at casinos, clubs, colleges and corporate events, with over 95% of his bookings being repeat and referral engagements.

He is the founder and owner of Wand Enterprises, The Hypnosis Agency and has worked with such personalities as Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Chris Rock, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, Sylvester Stallone, George Strait and Rascal Flatts.
