Ice hockey Dec. 19-23 recaps: Snyder, DeMaria lead White Plains over Fox Lane

Thursday's games

White Plains 10, Fox Lane 2

George Snyder scored four times and Mario DeMaria had a hat trick.

Joey Kittelstad, Ryan Amato and Julian Bystricky also scored.

Harley Formica had three assists, Lev Glazman and Snyder both had two assists and Josh Ilberg, Josh Levin, Ethan Ilberg, Bystricky and Kittelstad each had one assist.

Mikey Toole and Mikey D'Elia scored for the Foxes.

Tiger keeper Derek Gould had 14 saves.

Chistian Valente also had 14 stops for Fox Lane.

Wednesday's games

Rivertown 11, ETBE 1

Anthony Cappello posted a 10-point game with five goals and five assists and Braedon Gallante had eight points off a goal and seven assists.

Jacob Miller had two goals and Nick Gallery, Nick Denike and Aidan Maffucci also scored.

Alex Zinman and Will Leavitt both had two assists and Cody Miller, Jacob Miller and Maffucci each had one assist.

David O'Shaugnessy netted the Eagle goal off an Andrew Gildard assist.

Connor Polidoro had 23 saves and Alex Clark had two stops for ETBE.

Levi Putter had 26 shots for the Legends.

Clarkstown 8, BYSNS 0

Jason Rothstein had a hat trick, Andrew Fenninger scored twice and A.J. Levy and Ethan Dentz combined on a 20-save shutout.

Chase Chalfin, Nick Romeo and Dan Downey also scored.

Tyler Hague had three assists, Downey, Fenninger and Rothstein each had two assists and Jacob Savara, Peter Serra, Jason Gusler, Sam Sobler, Lucas Sciarretta and Chalfin each had one assist.

The BYSNS' Ty Wingfield, who was besieged with shots, stopped 44 of them.

Levy had 15 saves and Dentz had five saves.

Rye 6, Horace Greeley 2

Nic Bazalitski had two goals and four other Garnets also scored.

Tommy Broderick, Seth Dorfman, Dempsey Brown and Nathan Tietjen had solo tallies.

Henry Bagley, Liam Draddy, Tommy Richardson, Brown and Dorfman each had an assist.

Ryan Marcus scored both Greeley goals.

Ellis Adams and Johnny Spar both had an assist.

Quaker keeper Ryne Wolberg had 37 saves.

Fernando Mosquera stopped 14 shots for Rye.

Scarsdale 2, North Rockland 0

Freddy Kushnick and Ryan Philip scored and Max Siegel earned the shutout with 20 saves.

Ian Silberstein and Charlie Stemerman both had one assist.

Matt Dworkowitz had a huge game for North Rockland, stopping 48 shots.

East Green Wave 5, Ridgefield-Danbury 3

Kathryn Lonergan scored twice as the East Green Wave moved to 2-2 on the season in girls-only play.

Kate Rosenberg, Lindsay Smith, and Abigail Roberson also scored.

Katie Loga, Alyssa Filmer, Moe Poley and Wallis Kelleher-Ferguson each had an assist.

Brianna Boulanger had a goal and an assist for Ridgefield-Danbury and Abby McGuire and Dakota Smith also had solo tallies.

Ashley Collins had 21 saves and Casey Rosenberg had 10 saves for Ridgefield-Danbury.

Sienna Kay had five saves for the East Green Wave.

Tuesday's games

James McCafferty and Charlie Tyrell both scored twice and had an assist and Ty Levy stopped 23 shots..

Nick Bonanno and Tyler Pomerantz also scored.

Sean Tyrrell and Pomertantz had one assist each.

Luke Green scored the Pelham goal off a Griffin Evans assist.

Pelican keeper Jack Mallinson had 24 saves.

White Plains 5, ETBE 4 (OT)

Mario DeMaria's goal late in overtime off a Harley Formica assist lifted the Tigers to the win.

Josh Levin, Lev Glazman, Julian Bystricky and George Snyder also scored.

Ethan Ilberg, DeMaria and Formica each had an assist.

Andrew Gildard and David O'Shaugnessy both had a pair of goals for ETBE, which had a 2-0 lead entering the second period.

Christian Hanna had two assists and Luke Arrighi had one assist.

Alex Clark had 20 saves for ETBE.

Tiger keeper Derek Gould turned aside 14 shots.

John Jay-Cross River 10, Cortlandt 2

Liam Burke, Kyle Petschek, Declan Whelan and PJ DeNoia all scored twice.

Owen Scinicariello and Walter Oestreicher both had one goal.

Oestreicher had four assists, Evan Weissleder, Alex Maurice, Declan Goldrick, Scinicariello and DeNoia each had two assists and Kenny Irving and Blake O'Callaghan each had one assist.

Austin Lupo and Kevin Cahill scored for the Red Raiders.

Ian Posillipo and Danny Anello both had an assist.

Matt Dworkowitz had 17 saves and Dylan Cavanagh had 13 saves for North Rockland.

Dylan Rogers had 17 saves and Erin Samuelson had five saves for the Wolves.

Byram Hills 8, Newtown/Fairfield 3

Gavin Nichols, Alex Cutier and Ryan Nichols each had a pair of goals

Octavius Esposito and Shane Gordon also scored.

Erik Cipriano and Ryan Nichols both had three assists and Javier Benerofe, Avery Tymus and Esposito each had one assist.

Jared Ku, Blake Ballard and Gavin Mone scored for the Nighthawks.

Camryn Gouvela had two assists and Mone had one assist.

Monday's games

Clarkstown 9, Rivertown 4

Nick Romeo scored six times and had two assists in a game in which Clarkstown trailed 2-0 early in the first period.

Jason Rothstein scored twice and Andrew Fenninger had one goal for second-ranked Clarkstown.

Fenninger had three assists and Tyler Hague and goalie A.J. Levy both had one assist.

Anthony Cappello had a hat trick for the Legends, scoring their first three goals. Jacob Miller had Rivertown's other goal.

Dan Herceg, Aidan Maffucci, Eli Morrison, Aidan Balkin, Alex Zinman and Miller each had an assist.

Levy had 33 saves for Clarkstown.

Legends keeper Ryan O'Hagan stopped 30 shots.
