Ice and Snow Cover Minnesota Roads as ‘Bomb Cyclone’ Pushes Through

Minnesota resident Carol Bauer captured video of a slush and ice-covered road in Graceville, on March 14, as a winter storm pushed through the parts of the Great Lakes Region.

The storm, called a “bomb cyclone” by meteorologists, moved through much of the Midwest and the Great Lakes Region this week, leaving many areas covered in blizzard-like conditions, according to reports.

The video shows Bauer driving down a road covered in snow and fog. Bauer told Storyful she was leaving her home and headed west believing the roads were clear. Before long she noticed what looked like snow and fog blanketing the road in front of her. Credit: Carol Bauer via Storyful
