Ice Spice’s mother recently went viral after publicly supporting her daughter’s latest single, “Deli.” She posted a video of herself lip-syncing and bobbing her head to the song on Instagram. The track was recently released as a new single off the deluxe edition of Ice Spice’s EP Like..?

Fans quickly took to social media to express how much mother and daughter look alike.

This isn’t the first time the rapper’s mother went viral for her uncanny resemblance with her daughter. In May, fans pointed out how mother and daughter look like carbon copies of one another after photographs surfaced online.

Ice Spice has shared how supportive her parents have been when it comes to her career.

“Mom’s a baddie, so she knows what it is,” she told Apple Music about her EP cover art. “But my pops, though, I’m his baby girl.”

She said her love of raps stems from her father.

“Subconsciously, I ended up becoming an artist because I saw my father be one first,” she told Paper. “He’s a music lover himself. He’s a true Hip Hop head, beyond me, honestly. He knows everything. He’s always educating me on Hip Hop and s**t like that.”

Ice Spice has had a meteoric rise to fame this past year. “Deli” currently boasts 19 million views on YouTube and over 32 million streams on Spotify. She has collaborated with some of the industry’s top artists including Nicki Minaj, with whom she put out the viral remix to “Princess Diana,” as well as their “Barbie World” collab for the Barbie movie.
