IceRays back at home ready to make a move in the standings against Amarillo

It's crunch time for the IceRays. With a little more than two months remaining in the season, Corpus Christi faces a key set of games this weekend against fourth place Amarillo.

The Wranglers are sitting in the final playoff spot in the NAHL's South Division with 40 points and the IceRays are in sixth with 36, still within striking distance of a postseason berth.

Catching some points from Amarillo this weekend will be key for the IceRays and their playoff chances.

Contreras scored a goal in the come-from-behind win against El Paso last week, and also is tied for third on the squad in points with 18, including 15 from assists. He also leads the team in plus-minus at plus-11.
