Peter Luger is headed to Sin City.

The famed New York City steakhouse is the latest major restaurant brand coming in Las Vegas.

Caesar’s Entertainment announced this week that the beloved Michelin-starred restaurant will mark its first domestic expansion in over 60 years at its famous hotel and casino at the end of 2022.

It will be the 135-year-old Brooklyn-founded eatery’s first U.S. location outside of New York. Peter Luger already has a chophouse in Great Neck, N.Y., and recently opened a site in Tokyo.

The company’s president Amy Rubenstein said she was thrilled about bringing its famous strip steaks to the Las Vegas strip, calling it a partnership of “two iconic brands [that] have rich and celebrated histories.”

To be located on the second floor level near another iconic New York City restaurant, Mr. Chow, the latest offshoot promises to bring its notoriously gruff, bow-tied waitstaff, old-world charm, and on-site dry-aging of legendary USDA-Prime steaks, that has made it famous.

“It was critical for us to be able to bring to Las Vegas the same menu, the same ambiance and—most important—the same quality beef that we are known for in New York, and Caesars was aligned with that vision,” she added. “…we could not imagine a better partner in Las Vegas.”

The iconic 85-acre property — where Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy Award winning British powerhouse Adele is starting a residency this month ― is also getting a makeover, with renovations to the main entrance, including valet and new lobby bar. There will also be investments made in new games and the casino floor.

Caesars Entertainment regional head Sean McBurney commented: “Just like Caesars Palace, Peter Luger is timeless and inimitable. We are thrilled to make a home for Peter Luger on The Strip, and we know our guests will love the opportunity to experience this legendary New York tradition in the heart of Las Vegas.”
