NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A family from Nassau County got creative when a relative tested positive for COVID-19 just before their Christmas Eve dinner.

New Hyde Park resident Crista LaRock recorded a video of her sister sitting at the head of the table, wrapped inside a clear plastic bubble. It was posted to TikTok, and racked up more than 9 million views in three days.

LaRock later told Storyful that the family was determined to include her sick sibling in a way that everyone felt comfortable.

"My sister got COVID but we still wanted to safely include her in our holiday plans," LaRock told Storyful, according to ABC7NY. She added that everyone in the video lives under one roof.
