Idaho Statesman takes home 70 awards for 2022 reporting. Check out the winning stories

The Idaho Statesman won 70 awards Saturday at the Idaho Press Club contest, an annual competition that recognizes the best reporting from across the state.

The paper’s staff and reporters won first place in 22 categories and claimed Reporter of the Year (Kevin Fixler), Photographer of the Year (Sarah Miller), Sports Reporter of the Year (Michael Lycklama) and Rookie of the Year (Shaun Goodwin) honors.
