Need ideas on how to celebrate National Lazy Mom's Day in Alamance County? Here's a few

National Lazy Mom's Day occurs annually on the first Friday of September. According to nationaltoday.com, the purpose of the holiday is to "lend a hand and give your mom a much-deserved break from her daily tasks."

This year, the occasion will fall on September 2, which is the first Friday of September this year. Unlike Mother's Day, this holiday doesn't necessarily mean buying your mother a gift. According to the website, the best way to honor your mother on National Lazy Mom's Day is to "just cover her duties and tell her to cool it!"

In honor of the upcoming holiday, here's a list of activities for mothers in Alamance County looking to have a good time on National Lazy Mom's Day.
