Idina Menzel to perform at Latin American Music Awards

Edina Menzel stars and sings in the remake of "Beaches."

Broadway songstress Idina Menzel has been confirmed to perform at the second annual Latin American Music Awards.

Menzel will join a roster of Latin American artists on the stage, including Pitbull, CNCO, Franco de Vita, Sofía Reyes, ChocQuib Town, Miguel Bosé, La Santa Cecilia, Gente de Zona and Jesse & Joy.

As pointed out by Billboard, Banda MS and Yandel lead this year's nominees with six nods each.

The awards are scheduled for October 6 and will take place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The show will be hosted by Mexican singer and actress Lucero and airs on Telemundo.
