This is Iggy. Iggy has Cushing's syndrome, a condition in which the adrenal glands overproduce certain hormones. Iggy's hair loss and skin condition are a result of this, and right now, Iggy needs more care than can be given him at the Humane Society. Currently, Iggy is stable, but there is no cure for Cushing's and his condition will progress over time and become terminal. The Humane Society is asking for a hospice adopter to come forward, who can provide Iggy with peace and comfort while managing his symptoms.

Despite his diagnosis, Iggy remains an absolute ray of sunshine. He is a staff favorite and has been dubbed "Iggy The Piggy" because of the adorable happy grunting noises he makes! Iggy is housebroken, crate trained, and loves to snuggle! Iggy needs a quiet home; he would do best with older children and animal siblings who aren't too hyper.
