IHOP adds biscuits to its menu. Here’s what kind and when you can get them

IHOP is adding a beloved breakfast item to its menu for the very first time.

Starting Aug. 28, buttermilk biscuits will be available at IHOP locations nationwide with the roll out of its new biscuits menu, the restaurant said in a news release.

Biscuit fans can choose from sweet and savory options, including the chicken biscuit sandwich or the strawberries and cream biscuit “split and filled with cheesecake mousse, strawberries (and) a drizzle” of syrup, according to a product description.

Fans of IHOP breakfast now have more options with the debut of the restaurant’s new lineup featuring buttermilk biscuits.

The new menu also features:

  • Breakfast biscuit sandwich

  • Fresh strawberries and cream biscuit combo

  • Buttermilk biscuit and gravy combo

  • Plain buttermilk biscuit

“IHOP’s Biscuits menu is a continuation of our menu evolution that offers craveable and flavorful items any time of day for us,” Kieran Donahue, chief marketing officer for IHOP, said in a statement.
