A week from today, celebrate National Pancake Day at the iconic restaurant IHOP who has been serving diners for 65 years.

Dine-in customers may enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes at participating locations on Tuesday, February 28. Guests are invited to round up their check or purchase wall tags for a $1 donation. Since the promotion began in 2006, IHOP has raised close to $30 million for local charities.

“IHOP's National Pancake Day is a holiday we look forward to celebrating with our guests as an annual tradition, and we are spreading even more joy this year by adding the chance to earn loyalty rewards through our International Bank of Pancakes,” said Kieran Donahue, Chief Marketing Officer, IHOP. “At IHOP, we take pride in the quality of our fresh ingredients that guests crave all day, including our signature Buttermilk Pancakes and beyond.”

Whether you call them griddle cakes, hotcakes or pancakes, this is an opportunity to contribute to give back to your community while you enjoy a meal. The press release stated, "One free short stack [three buttermilk pancakes] per guest. Hours may vary by participating restaurant."

Next Tuesday, visit 338 Southpark Circle in Colonial Heights or 12251 Bermuda Crossroad Lane from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. to score complimentary pancakes. Bon appétit!
