IHSAA boys track roundup: Local regional qualifiers from Thursday's sectional meets

South Bend-area athletes gear up for Indiana state track & field finals this weekend

Local boys track and field teams took their first step towards the state meet with Thursday night's sectional meets.

In area action LaPorte, Elkhart and Culver Academies each won team sectional championships, while area athletes from NorthWood, Concord, Northridge, LaPorte, Elkhart, Plymouth, Bremen and New Prairie each had individual athletes advance to next week's regionals at Valparaiso and Goshen on May 26.
