He finished 23-of-34 with 363 passing yards, breaking the school record set by Michael Viktrup (356, 2015). Kazmierczak connected on long scores to Reece Bellin (40 yards) and Aydrian Caldwell (34), and added a 1-yard rushing touchdown to open the scoring.

Danny O'Neil, Cathedral: The Irish were playing catchup most of the game in their loss to Brownsburg, but O'Neil did his part to try and drag them back into the game. He finished 26-of-44 passing for 317 yards and four touchdowns and rushed 13 times for 113 yards.

Alijah Price, Ben Davis: The sophomore running back rushed for 135 yards on 12 carries and scored three times (1, 41 and 40 yards) in the Giants' 44-13 win over Avon. “He’s special,” Ben Davis coach Jason Simmons told IndyStar correspondent Paul Shepherd. “He’s got great balance. He’s got great body control. Those traits are hard to coach."

Nyrius Smith-Moore, Whiteland: The sophomore defensive back had two interceptions, including one in the red zone and another he returned 70 yards for a touchdown, in Whiteland's 24-13 win over Lawrence North. In all, Whiteland intercepted four passes and Smith-Moore got to hear chants of "NYRIUS, NYRIUS, NYRIUS" from the student section.

Grayson Thomas, New Palestine: The Dragons running back is taking full advantage of running behind one of the state's best offensive lines. Thomas rushed for 173 yards on just 12 carries (14.4 yards per carry) and scored three times (51, 44 and 21 yards) in New Palestine's dominating 49-0 win over Decatur Central.

Luke Valerio, Heritage Christian: The Fishers transfer had five catches Friday night. Four of those went for touchdowns in the Eagles' 52-33 win over Shenandoah. Valerio accounted for 184 of Kyle Antoine's 253 passing yards, and scored on passes of 42, 45, 42 and 51 yards.

Jackson Willis, Lutheran: Willis threw for five touchdowns in the Saints' 71-0 thrashing of Cardinal Ritter on Friday. He finished 9-of-14 for 226 yards. In two games as Montasi Clay's heir at quarterback, Willis has thrown for 523 yards and eight touchdowns and the Class A top-ranked Saints look as formidable as ever.
