The Grizzly Cubs (6-6) survived a determined fourth-quarter rally by the Woodmen (5-8) to reach the Johnson County Tournament championship game. Franklin led 26-15 heading into the fourth quarter, only to see Greenwood roar back into the game’s closing seconds at host Whiteland, turning it into a one-possession battle. Each team had two players in double figures despite the low-scoring contest, with Dylan Beverly of Franklin leading all scorers with 13 points and Carter Campbell topping the Woodmen with 12.

Center Grove will match up with Franklin (6-6) in the finals tonight, seeking their second win of the season over the Grizzly Cubs.

For one thrilling night, the past slipped by the present as the No. 3 defending state champion Millers rallied from a halftime deficit to knock off the previously unbeaten and No. 2 Eagles for a nine-point win. And it came during an individual battle between Noblesville’s Reagan Wilson (career-high 37 points, including seven 3-pointers) and Zionsville’s Laila Hull (32 points) that helped the Millers to their 10th straight victory.
