IMPORTANT NEWS: Your favorite laundry/grocery/pretty much everything bag is about to get a serious upgrade. We all use IKEA's iconic blue FRAKTA bag for just about everything-the tote is so beloved it's been repurposed as everything from a baseball cap to haute couture. In the past few years, designers like Virgil Abloh and Mette and Rolf Hay have tweaked the FRAKTA to their own specifications. Now, the bag is getting its most colorful redesign yet-and all for a good cause.

In celebration of Pride month (June), the Swedish retailer is unveiling a rainbow version of the FRAKTA, available in stores only, with 100 percent of its profits going to the Human Rights Campaign in its effort to support LGBTQ children, youth and families.

The move is a further demonstration of the brand's commitment to human rights issues (IKEA has supported causes from refugee housing to environmental campaigns). "At IKEA, our culture is centered on the value of togetherness," said Rafael Fantauzzi the company's Diversity and Inclusion Manager. "We believe equality is a fundamental human right and that all homes are created equal. We know everyone deserves a home you absolutely love and a workplace where you can be yourself."

Adds Ellen Kahn, director of the HRC Foundation’s Children, Youth & Families Program, "It has never been more important to commit to doing more to protect, affirm and uplift LGBTQ youth, who are at increased risk of bullying, homelessness and violence compared to their non-LGBTQ peers."

In an additional show of solidarity and inclusion, all IKEA locations will raise a rainbow Pride flag on June 1. Let that be your signal to head over and pick up some rainbow totes ($3.99!) for all your family and friends.
