Illinois man dies in overnight crash in Manchester

MANCHESTER, Mo. – A Madison, Illinois, man died overnight following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 141 in Manchester.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday in the northbound lanes of 141, just south of Highway 100/Manchester Road.

A 2015 Mazda 6 ran off the right side of the highway, struck two poles, swerved back onto the road and then off the right side again, struck another pole and became airborne. The vehicle overturned after landing on the ground.

The driver, Jose Perez Valle, was pronounced dead at the scene just after 1:30 a.m. He was 26.

Perez Valle was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the highway patrol.
