I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here 2011 winner Dougie Poynter has delivered a disappointing insight into what happens with the trophy when filming ends.
According to the musician, who appeared on Sunday Brunch with his McFly bandmates today (October 20), the production team are quick to snatch back the gong when the jungle show fades to black for the last time.
Seems a bit rude, don't you think?
Chatting to Sunday Brunch's presenting duo Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy, Dougie revealed how the trophy is handled.
"You have to give that back. As soon as they cut and say you won, they're like, 'Yeah, we'll take that back now thanks'".
Fellow McFly star Harry Judd chimed in with a similar story regarding Strictly Come Dancing's prestigious Glitterball trophy - which he won the same year Dougie entered the jungle.
"It's like the Glitterball as well," he noted. "They give you the big one and then they take it straight off you and give you this tiny little one."
Simon joked "That's why I didn't bother winning it", in reference to his unsuccessful run on Strictly back in 2017.
I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here returns to ITV later this year, while Sunday Brunch airs on Channel 4.
