I'm a Picky Shopper, and These Under-$100 Finds Have My Approval

Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour

Let me start by saying this is not your average, under-$100 roundup—I’ve spent hours making sure of that. Rather, these are the affordable finds that I wouldn’t just recommend to others but would actually wear myself. And, as some of you may already know, I’m extremely picky when it comes to that, but I like to think it’s a good thing for the most part.

So what should you expect below? Definitely a lot of basics as those are the backbones of simple-yet-cool style, not too much color but at least a few fun items, a sprinkling of trend pieces, and a handful of elegant accessories that look way more expensive than their price tags let on. If that all sounds satisfactory, which I hope it does, just keep scrolling to get started.

Mango Turtleneck Sweater ($80)

I'm very into layered-look sweaters right now and this Mango version is among my favorites.

Reformation Juliet High Straight Relaxed Jean ($98)

What more could you ask for in a fall jean?

Zara Animal Embossed Mini Crossbody Bag with Scarf Detail ($90)

Even from Zara, I would have guessed this bag was way more expensive.

BB Dakota Way Out West Vegan Leather Shirt Jacket ($98)

A leather shirt is practically an essential this season.

Musier Cardigan Charlotte ($99)

How fashion girls do going-out tops.

Lioness Hey You Shirtdress ($84)

This will look perfect with the Mango boots on the next slide.

Mango Croc-Effect Boots ($100)

Don't worry, they're actually $99.99.

H&M Jacquard-knit Top ($50)

This trend is easier to pull off than you think.

Topshop Mid Blue Raw Hem Straight Jeans ($75)

There's a reason Topshop's affordable jeans have a cult following.

Almina Concept Mock Neck Turtleneck ($48)

I've been living in this mock neck since fall began.

Urban Outfitters Siren Snake Print Button-Front Mini Skirt ($69)

I'd style this with a similar sweater and black kitten-heeled mules.

Pixie Market Gold Chain Choker Necklace ($32)

Still obsessed with gold chain necklaces.

Re:named Amanda Leopard Midi Dress ($63)

Everyone needs at least one fun, party dress, and this one is low-risk, high-reward.

Reformation Tammy Top ($78)

In case you didn't know, I'm obsessed with cardigans right now.

Barabum Retro Classic Shoulder Baguette Bag ($25)

Nothing beats a cute $25 bag on Amazon prime.

Topshop Snake Faux Leather PU Shirt ($85)

I'm all about anything snake-print this season.

Zara Heeled Lug Sole Ankle Boots with Zip ($70)

How I plan to look semi-normal when it starts to rain and snow regularly in NYC this fall and winter.

H&M Double-breasted Belted Jacket ($60)

Chic and flattering.

Intimately Tellin' Me Tank ($38)

Very into burgundy right now.

Charles & Keith Croc-Effect Knotted Shoulder Bag ($43)

The perfect everyday bag.

FP Movement Big Sky Pullover ($98)

Guess what I'll be wearing to the gym every weekend this season.

Something Navy Fitted Flannel Top ($60)

Have you heard flannels are back? I suggest going up a size in this to get that cool, oversize look.
