  • Imagine Dragons bassist Ben McKee recently added another piece to his sleeve tattoo.

  • McKee had L.A.-based artist Dillon Forte extend the tattoo to cover his hand and fingers.

  • The tattoo is inspired by cosmic intelligence and the "psychedelic geometric realm."

While a great number of celebrity tattoos tend to veer into slightly ridiculous territory, some celebs are known for their cool ink. Recently, Imagine Dragons bassist Ben McKee went to the Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Dillon Forte for a new tat, and his new ink looks great.

Forte extended McKee's arm tattoo to also cover his hands and fingertips, and he explained the meaning behind the cosmic-inspired ink on his Instagram page. "'It may be that DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) makes us able to perceive what the physicist call 'dark matter'—the 95 percent of the universe’s mass that is known to exist but at present remains invisible to our senses and instruments.'- Graham Hancock. I dipped @benamckee's s fingers into the psychedelic geometric realm."

As TMZ reports, McKee's new ink represents "the interconnectedness of all life and the unified field of vibrations resonating cosmic intelligence."
