Imagine Music Festival Canceled Due To Coronavirus

ATLANTA, GA—A popular electronic dance music and art festival held in Atlanta will not take place this year due to the continued spread of the coronavirus, organizers announced. Voted as as a "Top 20 festival in the world" by Fest300, organizers for Imagine Music Festival said the event has been rescheduled for the fall of next year.

"Just two weeks ago as the country began to reopen, and numbers started to look more encouraging, we had our artwork approved and ready for a spectacular lineup announcement. We remained hopeful we could all come together again in the fall with the safety precautions set forth by the health professionals," organizers said in a statement.

However, due to the continued rise in COVID-19 cases coupled with new projections from health professionals, organizers said it has become extremely difficult to provide a safe environment for patrons of the EDM gathering, which was scheduled to take place two months from now.

"As a united world, nation, state, city, community, and family we must come together to help heal the tragedies of this pandemic with one voice. The health and safety of our guests, staff, cast members, family and community is paramount," organizers said.

Organizers have rescheduled the event for Sept. 17-19, 2021.

For people who purchased tickets, they will be automatically transferred to next year's rescheduled show. All current ticket holders will also be upgraded to receive free admission to the pre-party show in 2021. Guests who would like a full refund will have until July 19 to submit their request.
