Impatient Tesla fan builds own 'Cybertruck'

This is not a real Tesla Cybertruck

An impatient fan who couldn’t wait

for the Cybertruck's official release

commissioned his manufacturing company

to build a replica

It took eight months for IT specialists and engineers

to disassemble a rugged Ford Raptor F-150

and transform it into a petrol-powered vehicle

that resembles a Cybertruck

(SOUNDBITE) (Bosnian) MARIO CORIC, DIRECTOR OF STARK SOLUTIONS, THE COMPANY WHICH BUILT THE CYBERTRUCK REPLICA, SAYING:

"The man who ordered this replica is the owner of Stark Solutions. He wanted us to combine two makes, Ford and (Tesla's) Cyber, because he is a fan of both Tesla and Ford, so we merged two 'souls' into one. // From the distance of three meters it looks identical to the Tesla, but from one meter away you can see it is not. The goal was to copy and get as close as possible, but not to make an identical copy."

The team have had some trouble

registering the truck for the road

because sharp vehicle edges

are banned in Bosnia
