Imperial man charged with child porn possession

HILLSBORO, Mo. – The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged an Imperial man last week for possession of child pornography.

A probable cause statement filed by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says that in October 2022, detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a Dropbox account registered to an email address used by Bradley Salsman, 23. The Dropbox account had received numerous uploads of child pornography.

On Oct. 3, 2022, detectives met with and questioned Salsman.

Investigators claim Salsman admitted the Dropbox account was his. Salsman told law enforcement he deleted the Dropbox account but said his electronic devices may contain child pornography. He also admitted to having an ongoing problem with looking at such material.

Police seized Salsman’s electronic devices and a search warrant was obtained for them. A digital forensic exam found 287 images and 9 videos of suspected child porn on the devices.
