You no longer have to join a giant fast food line to get your hands on an Impossible Burger. Starting Friday, you'll be able to bring home entire packs of these wonderfully deceiving meatless burgers at the grocery store—that is, if you live on the west coast.

Impossible Foods announced that the patties are making their freezer aisle debut at all Gelson Markets, a grocery chain exclusive to our SoCal pals. But worry not! They will be making their way to East Coast stores later this month. As New Yorkers, we are calmed by this news. We'll just have to be patient.

For the first time, you won't have to hit up your local Burger King or Red Robin to get a bite of one of these hot commodities. A supply of Impossible Burgers will be priced at $8.99 per 12-oz frozen package. Now you can cook your plant-based patty however you'd like—and throw on whatever add-ons and condiments your heart desires.

After three years of pure success, the company knew the next move was to hit the shelves. "We can't wait for homes to cooks to experience the magic—whether using Impossible Burger in their family favorites or inventing new recipes that go viral," their CEO and Founder, Dr. Patrick O. Brown said in a press release.

And to commemorate this huge accomplishment, Impossible Foods will be sponsoring a "cooking show-style VIP event" tonight with Chrissy Teigen's mom, Vilailuck Teigen, popularly known as "Pepper Thai." She and a squad of other grandmas will come together to share their different recipes and whip up their favorite dishes in honor of the Impossible Burger grocery launch.

My heart is so warm—plant-based burgers AND sweet grandmothers? Where did my invite go! Regardless, if you're lucky enough to live near a Gelson, you better fill up your carts. Given how wildly popular they've been, we're sure they'll be gone fast.
