"We're very excited that our existing representatives on the town council and Board of Education are running again," Democratic Town Committee Chairwoman Jillian Wood-Reviczky said. "Experience matters."

Wood-Reviczky said that those running in the election for the first time should work hard at campaigning and get to know and meet as many citizens of Coventry as they possibly can. She also encouraged all residents to get out and vote.

"It affect your kids, your kid's school, roads. They affect the direction that your town takes," Wood-Reviczky said. "The whole reason you live in a particular town is because you want to love it, and you want it to be the best town for you. The way that happens is that you vote in local elections."
