Independent Toddler Hilariously Let's Dad Know She Needs Her 'Privacy'

A recently potty-trained toddler wanted some privacy when she went to the bathroom at her home in Fairfax, Virginia, and declined her dad’s offer to help.

Footage filmed by Daniel Huston shows him asking his daughter Abby if she needs some help with the potty, only to be quickly shot down when she tells him “no” and that she needs “privacy”.

The independent two-year-old ends up having to relent though, and takes Huston up for the offer when she realizes she needs tissue.

Huston told Storyful that Abby has been potty-trained for about eight months, and has started to “quietly get up and go without telling anyone” instead of announcing it.

“As much as she wants to do everything herself, sometimes she still swallows her pride and asks Mommy or Daddy for help, and that is what we see in this video,” he said. Credit: Daniel Huston via Storyful
