Indiana County officials warn residents of jury duty call scam

Indiana County officials are warning residents of a phone scam in which the caller threatens arrest or fines for a failure to report for jury duty.

Five residents recently contacted the Indiana County Court Administrator’s Office to report that they received such a call.

Anyone who receives a similar call is encouraged to report it to their local law enforcement agency and the Indiana County Court Administrator’s Office at 724-465-3955 where additional information about jury duty can be found.
