Kristy Wallace is coming to Indiana.

The Fever announced Friday in a release that they have traded veteran guard Danielle Robinson to the Atlanta Dream for Wallace.

"We are excited to welcome Kristy Wallace to our Fever family," said Fever coach Christie Sides in a news release. "I had the opportunity to coach her this summer with the Dream, and she is without question one of the hardest-working and toughest players I have ever coached. There is no doubt that adding Kristy will be a slam dunk for our team culture and overall success."

Wallace, a guard from Australia, was drafted 16th overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Dream following four seasons at Baylor. While in college, Wallace was made First-Team All-Big 12 and was also recognized on the conference's All-Defensive team.

Wallace helped lead Australia's national team to its second-consecutive Bronze Medal at the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup. During the 2021-22 season, Wallace played for the Southside Flyers of Australia's WNBL before returning to the Dream for the 2022 campaign.

During that season, Wallace averaged 6.3 points per game, 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

Robinson, who was drafted sixth overall in 2011 by the San Antonio Silver Stars, joined the Fever ahead of the 2021 season. Last year, Robinson averaged 7.4 points per game, 3.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds.

"Danielle has been a remarkable player for us, a leader on the court who always demonstrated a passion for our community, too," said Lin Dunn, Fever interim general manager. "We are grateful to her for all she did for our franchise, and we wish her the very best moving forward."

The Fever kick off the new season on May 19 at home against the Connecticut Sun.
