Christian Abney threw a career-best five touchdown passes and 224 yards to lift the 6A No. Eagles (4-1) over the Millers (2-3) in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference showdown. Abney connected with four different receivers on scoring passes, including two to Eugene Hilton. The Zionsville defense shut down Noblesville back Logan Shoffner, who had been averaging 150-plus yards per game on the ground, to negative yardage in just nine attempts.
