Indystar.com is proud to announce the spring sports "watch list" athletes for the Indiana High School Sports Award program. The show is June 5 at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University.

During the live show, these watch list athletes will be honored, along with the player of the year nominees from the fall and winter sports.

Although spring sports end too late to name player of the year nominees in the show, indystar.com wanted to honor the spring sports athletes. So any athlete named to a spring sports watch list (see bottom of story for names), is invited to the show for free. Watch list athletes, as well as any fall or winter athlete who is a nominee for their sports player of the year, must register for the event here. Each of those athletes will receive one free ticket for their admittance to the show. Additional tickets may be purchased here.

Indystar.com wil name its spring nominees and its spring players of the year later in the summer. Check the website for updates. While spring players on the watch lists will be considered for these honors, all other spring athletes will be considered as well.
