Indiana Jones fans will soon be able to catch Harrison Ford's very last appearance as the archaeologist from the comfort of their homes.

Indiana Jones 5, formally known as Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, has finally landed a digital release date for the UK. The first film in the franchise not directed by Steven Spielberg (Ford v Ferrari's James Mangold sat behind the camera for this one) will hit the home screens for both the UK and US on August 29.

The digital release will also be accompanied by five behind-the-scenes featurettes detailing the making of the movie, which is the first Indy flick since 2008's polarising Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

The clips are set to break down three key locations for the new film, namely New York, Morocco and Sicily, and give insights into the prologue featuring a digitally de-aged Indy and the finale, with the cast bidding farewell to the beloved archaeologist.

The footage includes behind-the-scenes insights from Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge on location in Sicily, as well as production insight from filmmakers James Mangold, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, John Williams and Steven Spielberg.

Released in cinemas in June, the film sees Ford rocking the hat once again, joined by Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge in the role of Indy's goddaughter Helena Shaw.

Dial of Destiny also stars Antonio Banderas, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Ethann Isidore, Mads Mikkelsen and Karen Allen.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is now playing in UK and US cinemas. Fans in the US can catch in digital on platforms including Prime Video and Apple TV+ from August 29. A UK digital release date is yet to be announced.
