Indiana small-college men's basketball: Check out IndyStar's 2022-23 All-Star team

College basketball season is here. IndyStar is recognizing some of the top men's players from small colleges around Central Indiana, soliciting input from coaches and using statistics from last season.

Tim Adetukasi (Indiana Wesleyan)

The 6-6 senior from London averaged 11.4 points per game last season. He was second on the team in rebounds and third in blocks. He had five double-doubles on the year.

Jesse Bingham (UIndy)

The redshirt sophomore and Warren Central graduate was named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference second team last season, averaging 14.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He scored 26 points in two different games. He is the team's leading returning scorer.

TJ Deere (Franklin)

The senior averaged 11 points per game last season, with more than half of his field goals coming from behind the 3-point line. He shot 44% from the floor and 40% from behind the arc. He is the team's leading returning scorer.

Elijah Hales (DePauw)

Hales, a senior, was named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference second team after leading DePauw in scoring (18.1 ppg). He was tied for first in steals and second in assists and rebounds. He set career-highs in every major statistical category last season, including a 31-point game against Salisbury.

Christian Harvey (Marian)

The fifth-year senior did a bit of everything for Marian last season, averaging 10 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals per game. He shot 49% from the floor.

Ahmoni Jones (Wabash)

The senior and Pike graduate averaged 13.9 points and 6.3 rebounds last season during Wabash's run to the Division III Final Four. He was the team's leading rebounder in six games. He is the team's leading returning scorer.

Seth Maxwell (Indiana Wesleyan)

The fifth-year senior was named an NAIA first-team All-American last season and the Crossroads League Player of the Year. He averaged 17.7 points and 6.5 rebounds, shooting 55% from the floor. He was third in the NAIA with 95 blocks and had six double-doubles.

Grant Niego (DePauw)

Niego led the team in assists during his sophomore season (3 per game). He was second in steals (1) and third in points (10.2) and rebounds (4.1). He scored a career-high 26 points against Kenyon and set career marks in rebounds, assists and steals.

Nolan Niego (DePauw)

Niego, a senior, led the team in rebounds (4.5 per game), steals and blocks last season. He was second in scoring (11.3 points), including a 22-point performance against Wabash.

Spencer Piercefield (Indiana Wesleyan)

The senior and Center Grove graduate was named to the All-Crossroads League first team last season. He averaged 13.8 points and 5.1 assists. He scored in double-figures 27 times, including a 29-point performance against Bethel.

Kendrick Tchoua (UIndy)

The senior averaged 10.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season, shooting a team-leading 61.3% from the floor. He had five double-doubles.
