The Tennessee Lady Volunteers announced four games on its schedule Thursday, one of which is a home game against IU on November 14. The Hoosiers hosted the Lady Vols in December 2020, when Tennessee left Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall with a 66-58 win. This is the second leg of the home-and-home contract from that game.

IU is 0-2 all-time against Tennessee.

UT went 25-9 in 2021-22. The Volunteers lost to Kentucky in the SEC Tournament semifinals, and earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee defeated Buffalo and Belmont on its home floor to reach the Sweet Sixteen, where the Vols ultimately fell to No. 1 seed Louisville. It was Tennessee's first Sweet Sixteen appearance in six years, and the first in Kellie Harper's tenure as head coach. Harper is entering her fourth year leading the Vols.

Tennessee will bring back All-American guard Jordan Horston (16.2 points, 9.4 rebounds per game) for her senior season in 2022-23.
