Indians swim at LHC Meet
Oct. 20—INDIANOLA — Oskaloosa competed in their second conference meet in four days as they swam at the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet on Tuesday at Indianola.
Highlighting the event for Oskaloosa was Cora Snakenburg who raced to a third place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a new school record time.
There were also several season and lifetime bests for the Indians as they look to be in top form heading towards regionals in November.
"We spent practice on Monday talking about our races from Saturday and what changes we need to make for Tuesday," Oskaloosa head coach Rachel Brown said. "The girls did everything they talked about and had an absolutely amazing showing."
Oskaloosa has one more regular season meet on Monday when they go to Ottumwa.
