ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A 71-year-old teacher accused of having an improper relationship with a high school female at Eastland ISD has been indicted.

The Texas Rangers confirm William James Culverhouse, 71, was indicted on one count of Improper Relationship between Educator and Student in connection to the allegations.

A press release reveals Eastland police called the Rangers to assist with an investigation involving Culverhouse and a high school student at Eastland High School, where Culverhouse served as a Chemistry teacher and golf coach.
