Indie, retro, vintage: In Between Days Music Festival returns to Quincy this weekend
QUINCY − The In Between Days Music Festival returns to Quincy for its second year this weekend.
The two-day event Aug. 19 and 20 will take place at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The festival will feature two stages of music with two dozen bands and artists.
The open-air festival grounds will also host local independent makers, Little City Thrifty Vintage Market and The Good Trade Makers Market. Vintage clothes, home decor, vinyl records and crafted wares will be among the items for sale.
There will also be a retro arcade presented by Bit Bar Salem and food from local restaurants and food trucks.
Who's playing and what else is happening at In Between Days
Headlining this year’s In Between Days are Modest Mouse, Lord Huron, Phantogram, Trampled by Turtles and Sunny Day Real Estate.
New England talent will be on high display as In Between Days welcomes Weakened Friends, shallow pools, Kat Wright, Dwight & Nicole, Paper Tigers, Dutch Tulips, Carissa Johnson, Mint Green, Gypsy Moths and Sweet Petunia.

General admission costs $105 for one day and $175.50 for two days. VIP tickets cost $230 for one day and $400 for two days. There are no added fees.
VIP packages include access to an exclusive concert viewing section at the front of the main stage, admission to the festival’s VIP hospitality lounge and private bar, free soft drinks and snacks, access to air-conditioned restroom trailers, a concierge service and a private festival entrance to skip the general admission lines.
“We see this event bringing something new to the Greater Boston festival landscape,” said the festival’s director, James Macdonald. “In Between Days is eclectic and diverse, delivering an experience unlike any other in Boston.”
