IndyCar in Nashville: Music City Grand Prix begins after 100-minute weather delay
The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix IndyCar Series race will not start on time Sunday at the Nashville street course.
Lightning around the track initiated a hold at 12:55 p.m. and continued through at least 2 p.m.
UPDATE: The lightning hold was lifted just after 2:30 p.m. Pre-race activities will be limited. The race is now underway, starting at about 4:10 p.m.

The race was scheduled to begin after 2:30 p.m. The lightning hold will lift 30 minutes after the last lightning strike inside an 8-mile radius of the track.
Storms delayed Saturday's qualifying by 90 minutes.
