IndyCar Series switching to Shell fuel from Speedway
There will be new fuel power the IndyCar Series in 2023.
Shell is replacing Speedway as the fuel supplier, according to a news release from Equilon Enterprises LLC and Pennzoil-Quaker State Co. Shell is the brand name of Equilon products in the US.
Pennzoil will remain IndyCar's oil and lubricants supplier. That relationship started in 2021.

The No. 2 car driven by Josef Newgarden for Team Penske will carry Shell sponsorship at the 2023 Indianapolis 500. The No. 3 driven by Scott McLaughlin will continue to carry Pennzoil sponsorship at Indy.
Speedway has been IndyCar's fuel supplier since 2019.
