Larry Foyt expects clarity on Tatiana Calderon's future 'next week' due to late ROKiT payments

The No. 11 car driven by Tatiana Calderon is scheduled to compete in this weekend's IndyCar Series race at Mid-Ohio.

Sponsorship issues make the car's availability uncertain for the rest of the season, according to A.J. Foyt Racing, which fields the car with Rokit sponsorship. Calderon is the first woman to compete regularly in IndyCar since 2013.

"We are trying to work through a difficult situation as I know Rokit wishes to continue the program, but there are some issues which may prevent that," team president Larry Foyt said in a statement. "We will continue to either resolve it with Rokit or try to find alternate funding, which is difficult at best at this point in the season."
