What was the first sport you played and how did you get into it?

The first sport I played was basketball. I don’t know exactly how I got into this sport. It was just something I’ve always remembered doing as a kid, even though both my parents never really played in their younger years.

What’s your idea of a perfect day?

My perfect day would consist of me and my mom going to eat at Cheddars and then spending the whole day together.

What lessons have high school sports taught you?

One thing I’ve learned about playing sports at Mountain Heritage is that there’s more to it than just playing the game. Sports teach you how to become a good teammate and friend, which in my experience has turned into a big family.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the sport?

The advice I would give someone just starting out would be to not quit. High school sports can be difficult at times, but it’s something everyone needs to experience and finish.

Tell me about your favorite movie.

Personally, I love romance movies so my favorite movie would have to be “After” by Anna Todd. Along with the next two movies in this series called “After We Collided” and “After We Fell.”

Who is someone in sports you look up to as a role model?

Someone I look up to is Jada Williams. She is one of the best basketball players in high school right now. She does so much for her community and is always trying to motivate others and that’s what I strive to do also.
