Injured Goose 'Stranded' on Ice in Upstate New York

Joseph Frascati saw a goose “stranded” on pancake ice sloshing on the Genesee River on February 2, noting on Twitter that the bird appeared to have a broken wing.

Frascati was at Rochester’s Ontario Beach Park in the frigid conditions, as the National Weather Service warned of more snow on the way for Orleans, Wayne, Ontario, and Monroe counties in upstate New York.
