Injuries, ineptitude lead to Steelers upset loss to Raiders

Injuries happen. The Las Vegas Raiders came into their Sunday game with the Pittsburgh Steelers hobbled on both sides of the ball. But it didn’t stop them from upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-17.

The Steelers lost multiple players to injuries during the game including nose tackle Tyson Alualu and outside linebacker T.J. Watt. This was in addition to having starting cornerback Joe Haden and linebacker Devin Bush being inactive.

But none of this matters in the final analysis. The Steelers offense continues to underperform and despite all these skill players, do less with more like no other team in the NFL.

The loss pull the Steelers to 1-1 and in a time in the AFC North and another home game coming up this weekend. Pittsburgh has to find a way to manufacture yards and points if they hope to keep pace with the rest of the AFC.
