One civilian was killed and the number of injured has risen to 15 in Lviv following Russian drone and missile strikes on the city on Dec. 29, Lviv Regional State Administration, Maxym Kozytsky, reported.

The attack on Lviv was part of Russia’s largest coordinated drone and missile attack on Ukraine of the war.

Lviv was first targeted with drones, and later missiles.

Nine people were initially reported injured. The toll soared following the missile strike on Lviv that hit a residential apartment.

Western Air Defense Forces neutralized eight of the 14 strike drones that attacked the Lviv region, said Kozytsky.

One of the enterprises in Lviv bore the brunt of the drone attacks, sustaining partial damage to its administrative building and production workshops. There were no reported casualties or injuries at the affected site.

Russia attacked Ukraine with almost every missile and attack drone in its arsenal overnight on Dec. 29, targeting cities in every region of the country.

At least 19 people have been killed and 85 injured in Russia’s largest coordinated missile and drone attack on Ukraine of the war.

Ukraine managed to destroy 114 of the 158 missiles that Russia criminally launched at Ukrainian cities far from the frontlines.
