Input sought on future of Buffalo Mountain Park in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Johnson City is seeking public input on the future of Buffalo Mountain Park.

Citizens may attend one of two community meetings in February and complete an online survey.

The first meeting will take place on Feb. 13 in the Memorial Park Community Center dining room at 510 Bert Street. The second will be at the Langston Centre gym, 315 Elm Street, on Feb. 22. Both events will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

“Community participation is important for the development of a master plan for Buffalo Mountain Park,” Parks and Recreation Director April Norris said. “The input we get from these meetings and survey will help determine the best possible use for this important Johnson City feature.“

The online survey can be found by clicking here.
