Inside Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon’s “Perfect” European Honeymoon
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have found a new kind of paradise. After their lavish wedding on August 11, the Bachelor in Paradise stars embarked on a European honeymoon filled with a little bit of adventure and a lot of R&R—exactly the way they like it.
“Jared and I are lazy travelers,” Iaconetti said. “A perfect vacation to us is great food, a gorgeous property and a beautiful view to awe over, especially at sunset. We booked our entire trip through Booking.com, and the site made it really easy to preview the experiences to come.”
The newlyweds began their honeymoon in Italy at Casa Angelina, a hotel nestled on the Amalfi Coast overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. They stayed in a former fisherman’s house, which is only accessible via the hotel’s lift service combined with a 200-step incline, and enjoyed dinners overlooking the sea with sunset views.

“Amalfi, up next is Capri and Santorini,” Iaconetti wrote on Instagram. “I’m glad Jared listened to his wifey and decided to go with Italy & Greece for our honeymoon over Disney World.”

After their four-day stay in Amalfi, the couple traveled to an Italian hotel just off the coast of Anacapri. The resort features a wellness center and a private collection of paintings and sculptures, which Iaconetti and Haibon enjoyed with a side of limoncello. “When Italy gives you lots of lemons, I’ve learned I don’t want to make limoncello,” Iaconetti joked on Instagram.

After wrapping up in Italy, the pair will head to Santorini, Greece, where they’ll stay in the village of Imerovigli. “While there, we are renting a boat and Jared’s going to drive it. I know he wants to do this to pretend to be Tom Cruise in a Mission Impossible movie,” Iaconetti joked.

The couple’s Mediterranean honeymoon is a stark contrast to their first meeting, which took place in Mexico on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise. While it took about three years for their friendship to turn romantic, Iaconetti knew it was love at first sight.
“I remember walking down the steps in Paradise and seeing him at the bar and it was the weirdest feeling,” she said on the YoutTube series The Story of Us. “I was just so gravitated and drawn to him. It was truly love at first sight.”
After their romance went public in 2018, Haibon’s proposal to Iaconetti was featured on Season 5 of the ABC reality show.
